Karina graduated with a combined degree of Bachelor of Commerce with a Bachelor of Laws. Prior to joining Santone Lawyers, she practised as a criminal defence lawyer, representing clients across all jurisdictions from the Children’s Court, Local and District Courts to the Supreme Court of NSW. She regularly appears in the Local Court for traffic matters, AVO’s, sentencing, defended hearings, bail applications and mental health diversion applications. She has briefed experienced counsel in complex trial matters in the District and Supreme Courts.
Karina specialises in criminal law, family law and traffic matters. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. Karina’s expertise in both criminal law is often utilised by our family law clients, particularly when they may be involved in matters across both jurisdictions (as either a defendant or victim)
Outside of work, Karina enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
